Marilyn Shorts

American Apparel knows exactly how to get me in their pants because once I saw these Marilyn Monroe "Tap Shorts," I got naked fast. They're so perfect and surprisingly comfortable, made of a light stretch cotton. I wore mine with a sheer black Oxford shirt from H&M ($12).

The wardrobe makeover is making progress. I bought a pair of Boyfriend Jeans from H&M that were part of the $10 off sale - however, my distracted sales clerk accidentally rung them up $10 total and this is where moral flexibility comes in handy.

I also got a gray cardigan ($17) so now I can dress like a British school boy, if need be. My next goal: find a pair of cool granny boots.
